Why you should go: The area provides a rare opportunity to sample everything Scotland has to offer and cater to all your family members taste.
Autisticglobetrotting tip:To see places without being rushed or stressed out you should either rent a car or hire a private guide. We hired Gordon, a local tour guide who drove us around the Scottish highlands to see Loch Lommond, the picturesque little village of Luss , Stirling Castle and the show in the Wool center at Aberfoyle . As expected our son loved the sheep show (especially since the MC chose him to be one of the volunteer participants in the actual show) with the Stirling Castle walking tour a close second. Again, a reminder about the Scottish weather you might want to have your autistic traveler wear shoes with non slip soles for muddy ground surfaces and have an umbrella or poncho.
